We shred dense underbrush and suitable young trees on overgrown Macon lots, trails and fence lines. A compact track loader carries the drum mulching head and works around marked trees. Processed wood stays on-site as mulch, while buried roots normally remain.

## Our Forestry Mulching Process and Equipment

Our process uses an efficient mulching head mounted on a compact track loader to shred wood, underbrush and small to medium-sized trees, typically 5-7 inches in diameter. We work in controlled passes around marked trees, then reprocess thicker material into ground cover. Tree species, density and site conditions determine how we approach each stem.

## Macon Privet Thickets and Woody Regrowth

Chinese privet, Chinese tallow and Japanese honeysuckle occur in the Ocmulgee landscape. Sweetgum saplings and young loblolly pine can also fill disturbed openings. We check species, stem size and access before mulching, and retain native plants where requested. Roots and crowns may resprout, so follow-up maintenance can be necessary.

Prices: $1,500–$3,750. General project pricing; tree removal is per suitable individual tree. Acreage, vegetation, slope and equipment access affect your quote. Larger or difficult jobs can exceed these ranges. Stump work, hauling, permits and construction-pad preparation are quoted separately.
